Fishing is depleting the oceans of coral reefs, and important species of marine life that keep our eco-system in check. We are taking them out faster than they can reproduce. By choosing fish alternatives, consumers are able to help protect the oceans whose waters are being over fished at such a rate that it is forecast that fish stocks will run out totally by 2048. Action taken now can still help keep this from becoming a reality and this is what drives us at F-ish.
We want to make choosing to eat consciously an easier task in todays modern world.
F-ish founder, Moko, now a committed vegan, who used to be obsessed with eating seafood, has been testing out her creations at the vegan supper club events which she hosts at 10 Cable St, an all vegan venue, and it was such a hit with diners, she was spurred on to release it as a fish-alternative product.
We have plans to create many more plant based alternatives to fish and seafood for the fellow ex fish lovers!
